Georgia Mountain Needle Arts Festival

About Us

The Georgia Mountain Needle Arts Festival, or GMNAF, is held annually on the fourth weekend of April.

 

Hours are 10 am to 5 pm Friday and Saturday and 10 am to 4 pm on Sunday. The Marketplace will be open those dates and times, and Classes are scheduled throughout the duration of the festival. The event is held at the Gilmer County Civic Center.

A $5 entrance fee will be required of everyone ages 11 and older. The entrance fee can be paid at the door. Premium GMNAF bags are available for pre-sale for all customers. These will be picked up at the festival entrance.

The Gilmer County Civic Center
This 5,000 square foot venue is the home of GMNAF. Located at 1561 South Main Street, the Civic Center provides ample space for both a fiber market and classroom instruction. Parking is free. For directions from your location, click here: DIRECTIONS.

Fiber Market
The fiber market at GMNAF will feature a collection of 20+ vendors whose booths will bring you everything from raw fiber, beads, buttons, yarn from small yarn shops and independent dyers, stitch markers, needles and notions and everything you’ll need to continue or to learn a new craft. 

Classrooms will be located in close proximity to the market space, just in case you need to grab something for a class.
